We live in a beautiful place, full of wonder wherever you look. With long winters and summers too short, we need to occupy ourselves during those long winter months.
I’ve been sewing craft items for about 50 years. It started out when I tried to create a Christmas soccer sock for my daughter when she was in high school – it was pretty rough, but it has evolved over the years. We were searching for ways to create them more efficiently and started to investigate laser etching and engraving machines. We found it would cut out the shapes we needed for the socks – and SO much more.
I also like working with birch bark, so we thought maybe we could make something out of birch. Turns out working with wood is pretty fun! So we started gathering fallen trees from the woods around our shop. My husband does all the cutting, drying, sanding, and I work on the etching designs. We scour the woods in search of the birch & alder used in our products from fallen trees in our local area.
We purchase our fabric, sewing notions, wood working supplies and tools from local vendors. We are adding more products in a variety of mediums – so check back soon and often!— Gale & Dave Glenn, Owners
Return Policy
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return any non-customized product and get a full refund or exchange the product for another one, be it similar or not. You can return a product for up to 30 days from the date you purchased it. Any product you return must be in the same condition you received it and in the original packaging. Please keep your email and receipt as your proof of purchase.
Customization Non-Refund Policy
There are absolutely no refunds on any customized product after production has begun on a custom ordered item, or an in-stock item on which you have requested custom etching or engraving. You will be provided with a digital proof of any custom design prior to production – please review your Proof carefully and submit any changes or corrections promptly.
To cancel a custom item order prior to production, you must contact Lat67 within 24-hours of submitting/paying for your order. There can be no exceptions.
